Somebody’s not happy.
In 2005 the City where I live decided to enlarge a road and claimed imminent domain over all the properties on the side of the road. Everybody took the offers the City gave them for their homes and moved out. But one owner was not happy. He demonstrated his anger by spray painting the entire property black and yellow (plus a little silver on a shrub). It was months before the City got around to tearing the houses down so thousands of people who traveled the road daily were treated to this sight. I went by, pulled into a nearby lot and took photos. Who could pass something like this up and not take pictures?
